A quotation is the first step of selling in Vrodux. It looks like a proper business document and the customer can answer it from a link.

Create a quotation

  1. Open Sales and create a new quotation, or start one from a CRM lead or account.
  2. Pick a template. A default "Standard Quotation" exists for every workspace, and you can save your own boilerplate and prefilled lines.
  3. Fill in the title, reference, cover note, sections and line items (with units and notes).
  4. Add optional extras. They are shown to the customer but not charged.
  5. Set the header discount, tax, payment terms, terms and conditions, prepared-by and validity.
  6. Add any custom fields you need, such as project code, lead time or warranty. No setup is required.

The letterhead comes from your company settings: logo, name, address, TRN, signature, stamp and accent colour.

Send it

  • Email it with the link, or
  • copy the link and share it, or
  • print or download it as a PDF.

The customer opens the link without logging in and can accept or decline online. You can see sent, opened and answered with dates, and the creator and the lead owner are alerted.

After sending

  • Duplicate as a new revision to change something and send again.
  • Convert to a sales order once accepted.
  • Create or link a Finance invoice (needs Finance).

Good to know

  • Editing a template never changes quotations that were already sent.
  • Deleting a quotation revokes its customer link. This is intentional.
