Open a shift
- On the cashier screen, choose to open a shift and enter the starting cash float.
- Start selling. Sales, refunds and cash movements are attached to your shift.
During the day
- Record cash in and cash out with a category, for example paying a supplier from the till.
- A supervisor can approve sessions where your role requires it.
Close the shift
- Choose to close the shift.
- Count the cash and enter it.
- Vrodux compares the count with what it expected and shows the difference.
- Print the Z-report.
Restaurant orders attach to the cashier's open shift too, so their payments land in the same Z-report. See Retail & Restaurant POS.
