Real Estate: Properties, Leases & Rent
How properties, units and lease contracts work together to keep rent collection on schedule automatically.
Real Estate is where you manage the properties you own or manage, who's renting each unit, and making sure rent actually gets collected on time.
What Real Estate does here
Real Estate keeps track of your properties, which units are occupied and by whom, and the rent schedule behind every lease — so collecting rent doesn't depend on anyone remembering to chase it manually.
Properties & units
A property contains one or more units. Each unit is either vacant or currently leased to a tenant, so at any point you can see exactly what's occupied and what's available.

Lease contracts
A lease contract has a start date, an end date, and a payment frequency — monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual, depending on what you've agreed with the tenant.
Automatic rent schedules
Once a lease is set up, the system automatically generates the full schedule of rent installments due over the entire lease term — individual dated installments, not just one lump total. Nobody has to sit down and calculate a payment schedule by hand.

Reminders
Automatic reminder emails go out at the right moments: before rent is due, when a payment is overdue, and before a lease is about to expire — so nothing slips through simply because no one checked.
Recording payments
Each rent installment is tracked individually — as pending, partially paid, paid, or overdue — so marking an installment as paid, and seeing at a glance what's still outstanding across all your leases, is straightforward.
