How to renew or terminate a lease

Renew with a new schedule and carried-over arrears, or terminate with a final account.

Renew

  1. Open the lease and choose Renew.
  2. The new lease links to the old one, gets a new schedule, and any unpaid rent carries over.

Terminate

  1. Open the lease and choose Terminate.
  2. Enter the date and reason. A later date acts as notice.
  3. Vrodux works out the final account: deposit plus paid, minus owed, minus penalty, minus deductions.
  4. Settle the refund.

A "Mark expired" button exists for leases past their end date. Leases do not expire automatically.
